Barcelona-born Alex Noriega had been having issues at work when he started drawing these witty one-line comics in an attempt to sort things out in his mind. Neatly compiled into a blog that’s called Stuff No One Told Me, his comics are funny, straight to the point in an almost deadpan yet cute sort of way.

I recommend you read his About page as well – in it he details how at one point he wasn’t able to live off his illustrations and had to find a desk job (hasn’t it happened to us all at one point?) The good news is that he’s now working on a graphic novel that also details what happened in his time of aforementioned crisis, and I can’t wait to see how he got himself out of it!

We’ve got a giveaway coming up later today, so keep an eye out!

great style! too bad the printing press DID kill everything! there’s tons of research on this: the human brain IS capable of remembering whole books word for word…after the printing press came along, we decided not to use that part of the brain anymore… we can barely remember what we saw on tv last night now! ha!

    Dear Tim,

It is true that the human brain can store LOTS of information. Even today, numerous muslim children can and have to learn the entire quran word for word.

However, the printing press did not ruin everything. It took away the need to learn books word for word, but it gave the possibility of sharing thousands of new ideas and story’s at an enormous speed. And so does the internet.

Unless when you just use the internet for lolcats, as most stumblers that find this page do.

    Nice cartoons btw.
