Thank you everyone for visiting the shops and browsing the works of our participants for the March round of the PikaPackage Project! We have two winners, picked out by Mr. Random right here, and they are commmenters who are numbers 37 & 67 from this post.

March PikaPackage Giveaway!

And we’re back! We had a little hiatus the beginning of the year, but we’re happy to announce 2009’s first round of giveaways for the PikaPackage Project!
The total participants for this round is 29, and as like the previous round, we’re going to pick TWO winners, and each one will get a 8-item package each containing at least one item from your favourite artists that you’ve commented about.
And for making this possible, I’d like to thank our participants for coming along for this round:

- Valerie Pensworth sent in delicate full-sized prints and portraits;
- Mitch & Lauren of 3CD Kidstuff sent in prints that would look great on your kids’ walls; and
- Jess Racklyeft of Jesses Mess sent in quirky prints of her work!
So here’s what you need to do to win each one of these packages:
- visit the shops/websites of our participants, and
- write down here in the comments which product is your favourite from the artist’s shop (include the links if you’d like).
Here’s are some ground rules:
- You can make one long list containing a few selections, but please DO NOT comment more than once. If you do, you’ll immediately be disqualified!
- Some of the artists don’t have shops yet, but that’s alright too, just let us know you liked what they sent in!
- The closing date for this is on Sunday 15th March, 8 p.m. PST/PDT. I’ll pick two random winners from the comments section, so be sure to leave your email addy!

…and here’s the last roundup for March’s PikaPackage Project — our first one for 2009, and also marks a full year anniversary for the project since its inception last year. My, how time flies! :)

Renee and lillamilla of #55 and #68 respectively! Apparently there was a glitch on my backend and the comment didn’t cut off as it should, so a few more lucky peeps made it in (which was alright anyway!) The numbers are generated by Random.org, and I’ll be in contact with the winners very soon.

Alrighty peeps, this will be our last PikaPackage Project giveaway for 2008!
As the participants for this round comes to 24, we’re going to do it a little differently this time. We’re going to pick TWO winners, and each one will get a 6-item package each containing at least one item from your favourite artists that you’ve commented about. How does that sound?

The December PikaPackage Project: update #3

We’re on our last update for the December PikaPackage Project, and this brings our lot of participants to 24! Come to think of it, I think I may actually stick to a smaller number, as it is so much more fun! Update number 3 has these wonderful participants that we would like to showcase:
- Tad Carpenter sent in a massive package that contained silkscreened giant prints of his monster mix-up (each waist of the monsters are of the same width, and so is interchangeable), silkscreens on wood panels + loads of cards;
- Yael Fran sent in an assortment of fabulous brooches, necklaces and gift tags made from her beautiful collages!
- Lizzy House sent in a beautiful package filled with handprinted cards, prints and twee notebooks!
- Cristina Sitja Rubio sent in a fun coloring book, buttons and prints for the December package;
- Susan Schwake sent in beautiful original drawings and prints of her work;

Black Friday sale for PikaPackages!

I woke up this morning to a flurry of emails from peeps who are sprouting well wishes and merriment for Happy Thanksgiving, and I just remembered that it’s also Black Friday — which means that in honor of the season, the packages in the shop all now enjoy a 10% discount up until Cyber Monday, which falls on the 4th of December. (We’ll still be donating USD$2.00 for each package sold!)
